The alpine summer is over, the cows, goats and pigs have already moved to their winter quarters in the valley. We are looking forward to the mountain farm experience in summer 2025.

Experience farm work on the alp? Discover what it means to be an alpine farmer. Learn how to herd and muck out or other work on the alp – the mountain farm work experience at VogellisiBerg offers all this and much more. Please put on good shoes, it can also get wet and uneven.
To start, a small tasting platter with specially produced alpine specialities is ready for you. Together with spring water or cow’s milk a little refreshment for the upcoming farm work.
Each participant can take a piece of Adelboden home with them: a piece of cheese or a fine dry sausage are included in the price.
Optionally, you can combine the mountain farm experience with a family day in the scooterland Adelboden or a hike on the high-altitude hiking trail.

5 pm: Enjoy a degustation platter with homemade alpine specialities
6 pm: Watch and help with milking, mucking out and herding pigs
7:30 pm: Hiking back to Adelboden or return transport by people of Bütschi Stafel (a small contribution towards expenses of CHF 8.- will be charged for return transport by Bütschi Stafel).

How to get there:
Option 1:
Take the cable car Oey-Silleren to the middle station Bergläger. Change there to the chair lift Höchst. About 30 minutes.
Afterwards it is ahike to the Alp Bütschi (follow the signs for the high-altitude hike). Walking time approx. 50 minutes.
Option 2:
Take the cable car Oey-Silleren to the middle station Bergläger. Change there to the bus Bergläger – Geils and get off at the stop Lurnigegge (last bus leaves at 4:40 pm).
Afterwards it is just a short hike of about 30 minutes to the Bütschi Stafel (signposting available).
