The Aeugi-Lowa trail is considered the undisputed highlight of Adelboden's hiking paradise and provides an insight into the fascination of the high alpine zone.

Via Alpina

On the Via Alpina past the VogellisiBerg. It leads right through the Swiss Alps and seven cantons. Over 14 Alpine passes, 390 kilometres on foot over rough and smooth. On the 15th stage the route leads along the VogellisiBerg from Adelboden to Lenk.

The Aeugi-Lowa trail is considered the highlight of Adelboden’s hiking country. The high-alpine tour leads from Hahnenmoos Pass over the Ammertenspitz, which you reach via iron steps and a narrow path along the steep rock faces, to Engstligenalp. The hike is rewarding with views from the eternal ice to the gentle hills of the Mittelland.

The Via Alpina, which winds its way through the Swiss picture-book world, also passes the VogellisiBerg. On the stage from Adelboden to Lenk, hikers cross the Hahnenmoos Pass.

The hiker’s paradise on the VogellisiBerg – this is where young and old alike can confidently take their favourite route, because it’s always the right one.
