The wide, easy hiking trail takes you past alpine huts and grazing cattle, leading towards the Hahnenmoos Pass before branching off to the left towards the Brenggen reservoir lake. The turquoise gem captures everyone’s attention, sparkling in countless shades of blue depending on the sunlight. No wonder this lake, which serves as a water reservoir for the ski lifts in winter, is a real highlight for photographers. After a short rest by the lake, the trail loops gently uphill to return to the starting point at Metschstand. For those seeking adventure, you can finish with a thrilling descent on a mountain cart.
