Become a work of art yourself at VogellisiBerg!

Unexpectedly and colourfully, art has been shining at the cable car station at Bergläger since July 2021. The work “GiantWings” invites you to marvel and pose, offering the chance for an unforgettable souvenir picture. The oversized eagle wings allow visitors to become part of the painting themselves and are the photo hotspot in the region.

The project was created in collaboration with local artist Björn Zryd. His paintings, in which he interprets traditional subjects in a modern way, are known far beyond the Bernese Oberland. He describes his intention behind the interactive work as follows: “With the GiantWings, the visitor can feel like an eagle himself and save a great day at VogellisiBerg with a lasting memory. The eagle wings are the wings of the king of the air. Mighty, strong, impressive. The ideal symbol for freedom, the perfect visualisation for the VogellisiBerg”.

The GiantWings are free and open to art enthusiasts and Istagramers.
