On the overview map you will find all the places of energy at VogellisiBerg at a glance:

Place of energy: Chüebodmi

Where hikers leave the road and the hiking trail winds its way down the valley along the Sillerenbühl and between alpine rose bushes and willows, yes, every heart beats faster. The view sweeps up to Gsür, Albrist and Tierberg, the high, soon to be snow-covered peaks that rise in rows and form the mighty end of the 21-kilometre-long Niesen chain. In the “Chüebodmi”, where foxes, rabbits and, as the name suggests, cows usually say good night to each other, it is very quiet at this time of year. When autumn arrives, the animals are back in the valley and the landscape prepares itself for the coming winter sleep in a golden dress, the panorama can be enjoyed undisturbed. Then take a seat on the wooden bench at the Vogellisi and listen to the silence. In a place with a rustic, wild character. Heart palpitations included.

Place of energy: Nassberg

A bench in the middle of the green to simply take a break! Not a soul in sight. In the distance, birds chirping and bells ringing. The VogellisiBerg bench stands in September in a small clearing on the Nassberg. With the “Hüendersädel” ridge in the background, those seeking peace and quiet and nature lovers can enjoy an indescribable and unexpected panorama of the Sillerenbühl and the Niesen chain towering behind it. The Geils-Bütschi hiking trail leads to the Nassberg, the untouched jewel in the area around VogellisisBerg area, or it can be reached via the ridge hike on the “Hüendersädel”. Either way, once you have arrived, you don’t want to go any further.

Place of energy: Bütschi

Alp Bütschi lies at more than 1800 metres above sea level. The wild, rugged side valley, wedged between the “Hüendersädel” and the mighty Fitzermassiv, is also called “the Bütschi”, Adelboden’s last wilderness. The valley is considered the legendary home of the Vogellisi. This is where the Adelboden herb woman is said to have once retreated. Far away from man and civilisation. In the middle of the rocky, barren but at the same time so magical landscape. Untouched nature, rare flowers and herbs, imposing boulders, graves, marmots and here and there a circling eagle characterise the image of the Bütschi. Nature lovers can experience its beauty on a hike along the high-altitude trail from Höchst to Sillerenbühl. This is also where the VogellisiBerg place of enery is located. It invites you to pause for a moment. To breathe in the fresh, flowery mountain air. To tip your ears. To let your gaze wander into the distance and, above all, to experience the rugged, mystical valley and its power with all your senses.

Place of energy: Rossweid

The place of energy in July is a real insider tip. Far away from the mainstream, on the Aebi-Rehärti or Schermtanne-Rehärti hiking trail, you can listen wonderfully to the murmur of the nearby Allenbach stream, the chirping of birds or the distant ringing of bells. In addition to the Vogellisi places of energy bench, a small barbecue area invites you to linger. When the fire crackles at sunset, the soul does somersaults. Originally situated in a moorland area, the Rossweid is surrounded by forests, ponds and pastures. Always in view: The Stiegelschwand valley and the end of the imposing Niesen chain. Top tip: The Rossweid is a mystical place. The clearing is particularly enchanted on misty days – then it shows its most magical and powerful side.

Place of energy: Fahrni

The small glade is embedded in a valley basin between Troneggrat and Nassberg. The inconspicuous turnoff at the Geilsstrasse gives hikers no idea what alpine pearl is hidden further back. Far away from civilisation, the ringing of cowbells, the gentle murmur of the Bütschi Falls and the rippling of the passing stream quickly leave everyday life in this Alpine landscape behind. A scent of fresh alpine herbs, sweet wild berries, mushrooms and mountain forest is in the air. The chirping of birds provides the right background music – the Fahrni is a place to look, marvel, relax and find the melody of life.

Place of energy: Troneggrat
(High-altitude hiking trail Höchst-Sillerenbühl)

If you hike along the high-altitude trail from Höchsthorn to Sillerenbühl, you will pass by here right at the beginning. Together with the Höchsthorn and Chuenisbärgli, the wooded Troneggrat divides the valleys of Gilbach and Boden. If hikers look south, they can enjoy a view of the most beautiful valley end in the world: The Wildstrubel and Engstligen Falls. Even from a distance you can hear the roar of the thundering water masses that plunge 600 metres into the valley. On the opposite side, the picturesque Bütschi and the area around the Hahnenmoospass and Sillerenbühl open up. Behind them, the Albristhorn, the highest peak of the Niesen chain, and the Gsür rise into the sky. Here on the Troneggrat, people like to sit down, enjoy the 360-degree panorama and give themselves completely over to nature.

Place of energy: Blatti
(Hiking trail Hahnenmoos – Höchst)

In the background the enthroned, 2193-metre-high Regenboldshorn, which the locals affectionately call “Rägäpöli”, in the foreground a view that extends along the Niesen chain to Lake Thun and the Emmental Alps. We are talking about the place of Blatti, which can be reached from the Hahnenmoospass via the hiking trail in the direction of Bütschi. This is also where the Blatti hut is located, from where the view into the valley opens up. Very close by, the Geilsbach has its source, which forms a strong mountain stream on the way down the valley from a small Gräblein. The “Blatti”, a place as unique and powerful as the bubbling spring.

Place of energy: Floral Trail

Embedded in the alpine landscape and along the Lavey massif, the flower trail winds its way. The magnificent panorama and the alpine flora characterize the hike on the flower trail. The almost flat and idyllic path connects the Sillerenbühl with the Hahnenmoospass. Signs inform along the way about the diversity of the alpine flora. Past colourful blossoms and lush Alpine herbs, your gaze wanders from the Bunderspitz and Lohner to the glacier-covered Wildstrubel. High above, migratory birds pass by in no time at all. It’s a pity who just keeps walking. Just right for those who stop. Taking a seat on the wooden bench. And recharges your batteries.

Place of energy: Gigersweid
(Hiking trail Gilbachegge – Bergläger)

After a playful hike on the Vogellisi themed trail from Sillerenbühl to Gilbachegge, you can now enjoy the peace and quiet of nature on the second section. On the way towards Bergläger there is an inviting bench above Gigersweid. While the funny moments of the Vogellisi themed trail are still whirling around in your mind, you can take a break here, surrounded by the beautiful mountain forest. The small clearing in the forest makes the opposite Rägeboldshore and Hüendersädel appear. Fir cones are hanging from the tops of the fir trees, which sway back and forth in the wind. Before the inviting hiking trail leads further down the valley, you can recharge your batteries here.

Place of energy: Höchsthorn

The unique panorama from the Höchsthorn never fails to impress over and again. While mountain jackdaws take advantage of the mountains’ thermals to circle overhead, your gaze sweeps towards the Engstligenalp with its impressive peaks like the Wildstrubel and the Tschingellochtighorn. Turning slowly on its own axis, the valley opens and reveals the distant peaks on the right side of Lake Thun. The village of Adelboden nestles snugly on the slope. The view now extends along the Niesen mountain range and through to the Albristhorn, the highest peak of this range. Encircled by such dramatic mountain scenery, it often best simply to sit down and let nature work its magic on you.

Place of energy: Sillerenseeli

Whoever goes for a stroll along the Sillerenbühl circular trail will not only enjoy a unique mountain panorama. They will see how the small Silleren lake blends gently into this scenic landscape of meadows. Whilst the wind nudges the treetops gently to and fro, the movement of the clouds can be observed over the mighty Adelboden mountains. During a short break on the edge of the Silleren lake, nature’s beautiful surrounding scenery can all be taken in at your own pace. This inspirational spot, which offers up views of the Lohner, the Tschingellochtighorn and the Altels, passes on the energy of these mountains and allows everyone to forget the passage of time.

Place of energy: Bütschibach (near Farni)

The Bütschibach flows right alongside scooter route number 6 which leads from Geils into the Bergläger. The small bridge next to the road is the perfect place to dismount and take in the scenery around you. Behind you, the view sweeps back towards the Bütschifall waterfall and the valley of the same name. The sound of gurgling water which snakes its way through the landscape is ever-present; a cowbell of two will occasionally be heard from afar. Lush green meadows, large stones that beckon you to sit on them and mighty firs that draw their energy from the Bütschibach all combine to make this place magical. Why not just sit here for a while and absorb the energy that this spot is imbued with?
